Afternoon light plays hide and seek on the geometrically laid out steps of Chand Baori (stepwell) in the village of Abhaneri near Dausa, approximately 100 kms east of Jaipur.
No photograph can do justice to this beautiful stepwell—built during the 8-9th Century AD by a Rajput ruler of the Chahmana dynasty—and it has to be experienced in person.
