Bharatpur is often referred to as the Eastern Gateway to Rajasthan, is an important stop on the "Golden Triangle" tourist circuit (Delhi, Agra and Jaipur) and has a human population of over 400,000. Bharatpur is most well known for the Keoladeo Ghana National Park.
