C i t y s c a p e s A picturesque, 9 km long road meanders through low Aravali hills north of Jaipur to reach the famous Jaigarh and Nahargarh forts. The drive is usually pleasurable and offers the added advantages of seeing interesting birds along the way. This photo was taken in April and so the hills look barren. During / after a spell of good monsoon rains in July / August, the hills turn lush green (See next photo). Photo date: April 2006 |
