Mustard Field     R u r a l s c a p e s

A Mustard field on the outskirts of Sariska National Park.

Rajasthan is one of the main Mustard growing states of India. Called Sarson in Hindi and sowed as a Raabi (winter) crop, Mustard usually flowers in the months of January and February, painting field-after-field with bright yellow colour. The countryside of Rajasthan is usually at its best when Mustard is flowering.
