A leafless tree together with subtle-hued rocks creates a poetic scene near Samode, north of Jaipur.
Large parts of Aravali mountains were defaced by stone mining in Rajasthan, which continued for many years. Thanks to a Supreme court order banning the mining activity, the beauty of the world's oldest mountains will hopefully be preserved for many generations to see (and admire)!
