N a t u r e s c a p e s A flowering Rohira (Tecomella undulata) tree in a village near Sikar. Also known as Desert Teak, Rohira (or Rohiro) as it's locally called, grows in the plains and flowers in the month of March. The colour of its flowers varies between yellow to deep orange. This tree is very useful locally, its leaves are eaten by cattle and goats, its bark is used to make indigenous medicines and its wood (soft, tough and durable) used to make furniture and carvings.
